Snowpack

This morning (Monday) we were hiking the West side off the road of Molas Pass. The whole area had an aspect of SE I believe and on all the slopes we walked on we experienced large "Whompffffffff" noises but with no visible cracking. We tried to trigger some slides but couldn't get any to go with the 2 of us. It was sketchy enough to make us hike out before we got any skiing in though. We also witnessed large amounts of natural snowballs rolling down the mountain by the Coal Creek and Deer Creek hikes on Coal Bank Pass.=
