Weather

Yesterday was a tough day. Alot of wind and alot of wet snow made for thick thick skiing. Temps were very warm with significant W winds. Higher elevations has s-1 to s-2.

Snowpack

About 6-8" of heavy snow on top of the low density snow from earlier in the week. Then a thin rain crust on top of that, followed by about 3" of graupel on top. Very much the upside down cake. Significant loading NE thru SE slopes. With big winds last night, expecting to see more loading and windslabs today. Guides were surprised by the lack of signs of instability. Most time was spent on S aspects though, so hoping to check out the N today.
