Avalanche

Elk Mountain Ridge between Sopris and Capitol had a nice natural cycle last night during the storm. I can see multiple avalanches from my house on Old Snowmass. Crowns look to be 30-50cm deep and there is at least one R2.5. Elevation looks like 11,800-12,000. Aspect: NE Elevation: Above treeline
