Avalanche

2 x Sz 2 avalanches released in Apex Proper Bowl. E-SE aspect, 30-35 degree start zones. The first Sz 2 was skier remote, triggered from 10m away, 30cm x 30m x 200m. The second Sz 2 ran 250m, about 30m wide. Overnight wind loading, time constraints and low vis made obs hard to determine crown size and if 2nd Sz 2 was natural or skier triggered. Test pit dug between the 2 slides, E aspect, 25 degree incline produced: CTM11, 13,14, down 30cm (SP) on wind crust. Step down to 40cm in decomposing crystals. CTH25, down 72cm (SP) on facets.
