Weather

Overcast & very windy. Gusts probably into 50 mph range. Ambient air temperature was warm, but winds made it cold. By 2 PM clouds were breaking and lots of blue rolling in. Still windy though. Really warm all things considered

Snowpack

Lots of wind issues in the upper snowpack. The recent storm snow, (Tuesday night/Wednesday was heavily rimed/graupel. There were a couple MF crusts found in the upper half of the snowpack, but tests did not find any problems at these crust interfaces. Interestingly, found things to be a bit reactive at the basal facet layer, ~ 125 cm deep, near treeline, easterly aspects.
