Avalanche
As previously reported on 1/21: HS-U-R3-D2.5-O, 11,600FT, E/NE aspect, 40 degrees or greater slope angle in the start zone. Avalanche initiated via a series smaller wind slabs, eventually consolidating & stepping down to deeper PWLs near cliff bands & rock features. After clearing the bench below the start zone, the debris traveled another ~500ft to the valley floor. Some smaller-to-medium timber had broken along the margins as well.
