Weather
The winds were so strong there was actually more erosion than loading where I could see. Old snow surfaces ATL were somewhat polished from past winds so any drifting snow looked to be rolling, with help from wind, down to valley floors. Nearby Wx station had steady 50's gusting 70's from 10 to noon.
Snowpack
Near and above treeline ravaged by wind would be the description du jour.
Avalanche
Likely ran near or just after the big storm cycle of December 17/18 I am guessing.
