6-8" of low-density new snow hides everything and is well bonded to various old snow surfaces (crusts, facets and polished wind slabs). Storm slabs are not reactive, but winds could easily build wind slabs with the new snow. On sun-exposed slopes, the top 1-2" got moist today.
