Weather

Bluebird. Windy in the usual place-Peak 10. Nice tornadoes up there. WArm enough that snow was glopping to ski tops.

Snowpack

About 12" of new snow on a 2" firm crust. Below the crust for the next two feet moist newer snow going rounds. Q1 shear-- one inch above the crust. At noon it needed a slight push on terrain steeper then 35 degrees to peel off. Steeper E aspects were getting moist to almost wet by noon at treeline. Cool enough above treeline to keep the snowpack cold today. N aspects near TL had fresh wind slab 1-2 ft deep. Above Treeline the hard slabs were split by wind hammered terrain. Generally loaded all aspects depending on what the terrain influenced wind had done recently.
