Butler Gulch, west side, 11,600ft. NE aspect above treeline. Broken to overcast skies with temps around 26-27F. Gradual clearing through out the day. Calm winds in the AM with higher wind gusts observed near ridgetops.
Snowpack
Butler Gulch, 11,600ft NE aspect. HS 80cm. Easy to very easy CT and ECT results failing 45-50cm down from surface on a crust/facet combo ( SP Q1 ). About 30cm of 2mm facets residing at the bottom of the snowpack. 1F to pencil hard wind slab resting above.
