high and dry, some clouds yesterday. Windy and gusty at times

Snowpack

Skiing the last 2 days - on North facing slopes the support is going away and no longer are we being supported by a crust layer in the middle of the snowpack. Tracks are running deep and snowpack feels bottomless. Cracking observed on steep rollovers in previously unskied areas. Fat skis a must. Yesterday the east facing slopes started to develop a thin crust and south facing saw a wet surface.
