Weather

Generally cold and clear conditions. Some lingering clouds near ridge tops and high summits in the early morning. Strong N winds and intense wind transport subsided by noon.

Snowpack

Collapsing and widespread shooting cracks up to 20 meters. Cracking and triggered avalanches mostly occurred where the recent storm snow was sitting on some older snow.
On a NW slope near treeline @ 11,755 found HS of 75cm. 65cm of recent snow rested on 10cm of facet/crust combo formed in October. Here cracks were breaking down to the old snow.

Avalanche

Saw previously reported avalanches in Eagle, Sultan, and Red No.3
