Many whumpfs all day long, including the alpine, so we stuck to mellow terrain and avoided overhead hazard. One very big whumpf we had at the valley bottom (near 1400m elevation) was likely the trigger for a size 2 avalanche at the ridge crest (400m away!)... and five other small crowns nearby (first picture). On the ski down we saw a size 1 that released sympathetically around the corner (second photo), about 100m away from the other avalanches. Spooky stuff!
