Snowpack
Observation from 11,200', NE aspect, along ridge to South Diamond Pk. Snow was wind affected at TL and above TL, wind slab approx 10-15cm thick in lee slopes. Felt one whumpf on 30deg terrain, did not see any other signs of instability along tour. Test pit: HS 115cm, 32 deg, 11,250', NE aspect, in lee slope. Did not get results on top wind slab, but did see propagation along graupel layer, 35cm from top (ECT11+1P, 80cm from ground, RP). Graupel was 2cm average, 1cm thick layer. Also observed sun crust 15cm above the ground (5-10cm thick, partially broken down).
