Weather

The day started with interment snow shower. Daytime accentuation of under and inch by the time we left the area. Last night's storm produces around 10 inches of new snow. The sun came out for a brief period and warmed the surface of the snow. Winds were light to nonexistent.

Snowpack

The new snow continues to gain volume. 10 inches in the past 24 hours and the snow continues in higher elevations. On the slopes traveled on today near and below treeline good bonding was observed. The sun came out for a brief period and a small 1cm zipper curst was observed on the surface. In unaffected areas below treeline the melt-freeze crust was not supportive to the weight of a human on skis. No signs of natural activity.
