Second Creek Drainage. Full Test pit at 10,900'. SE Aspect. S1, NW wind at 5-10mph.
Snowpack
110cm deep on SE aspect. Sun crust on surface with 1cm new snow. Three distinct layers at 85cm, 62cm and 33cm. Layer at 85cm had a Rain Crust with rounded facets on top. CT failed on 85cm layer at 12 taps, Q2 and had a resistance of a pencil resulting in a hard slab. Air temp -3c, failure layer at -6c.
