Beautiful day. Very light winds. Blue skies. 30 degrees.

Snowpack

Only traveled near and below treeline. Lower pack has not changed a whole lot. December 13 facets still prominent. Surface hoar can be found on all aspects, buried 5-10 cm. In wind effected areas the pencil hard slab easily sheared off surface hoar, but the slabs were only ~3cm. See attached pit profile from E aspect. Snowpack tests, E aspect NTL, ECTP25, PST32/100 End. Snowpack tests on WNW aspect NTL, ECTP29, PST35/100 end. All tests failed on Dec 13th facets. Nearby peaks above treeline were very wind scoured.
