Skier triggered wind slab avalanche on NE aspect below cornice on Ptarmigan Hill at Vail Pass adjectives to Avy Bowl. 8-10" crown and ran 250 feet horizontally. 35-40 degree slope. Slide did not run out. Aspect: NE Elevation: Above treeline
