Early morning tour. Skied North aspect below tree line 11100 ft. Observed a few mm of surface hoar. 6-8 inches of consolidated powder on top of supportable wind crust (about 3/4 inch thick). No signs of instabilities during ski. Some sloughing in steeper gully that ran on previously mentioned wind crust. varying depth throughout snow pack, shallow to decent coverage. Good skiing overall.
