Sunny, clear, 15 mph ridge top gusts form SW. Noticed blowing snow on Mt. Emmons and Paradise Divide.

Snowpack

No instability observed. Observed surface hoar on lower 35% of the slope along skin track. Chose one of the tree chutes from the main ridge; the bottom half was full of facets. No sloughs though. The lower bench had large surface hoar and had little support. Partner noticed a small slough I set off on the last main bench.
