Snowpack
On southerly aspects, yesterday's dusting of snow is now well-developed near surface facets (1mm) in clearings, sitting above the melt-freeze crust from this week. Gladed terrain the surface is decomposing and fragmented precip particles. Northerly aspects also have a mix of NSF and DF grains on the surface. The winds were working the surface snow, especially on near and above treeline slopes on all aspects, into windpacked grains. Lowest elevations were no longer supportable skiing on north aspects with a few facet sluffs on steep terrain. One collapse on a near treeline NE slope.
