Weather

Sunny blue bird and no wind. Even on the summit, very little to no wind. Cold in the morning warming rapidly during the day. Strong solar today.......very surprising for this time of the year and early in the day. Crust tomorrow on southern aspects.

Snowpack

SNOWPACK OBS: About 10-15 of new snow. Blown around during the storm. Due to the aspect no wind crust observed on the SW aspect even up high. Ski cuts and hasty pits produced little to no results with the new/old snow interface. Just not enough snow. Persistent weak layer present, whats new, deeper in the pack. Supportive pack great skiing, warming rapidly. Was very surprised at the rate of warming today, are we in a solar flare!!
