Weather

Strong and gusty NW winds. Strong enough that we saw trees being blown over. Moderate blowing snow. What snow was available to transport was being stripped from windward slopes

Snowpack

HS 60-100cm. Old slabs and crusts in the upper 25-30cm resting on weak facets in the lower snowpack. At this location, Wind Slabs did not appear to be an issue due to the lack of available snow to transport.
