Snowpack
The snowpack is about 2-3 feet deep near and just below treeline. The snow felt much more stable further below treeline. In areas near at at treeline, we experience a few rumbling collapses. One was much louder, and was triggered from 70 feet away. You could hear it rumble through the snowpack and then it popped under our feet. We were on flat terrain. No avalanches were triggered remotely.
