Weather

Warm sunny day after another cold clear night. Light winds in the morning from the NE then the NW in the afternoon. Temps near or above freezing.

Snowpack

Surface faceting continues with shallow areas of the snowpack being all facets to the ground. Other areas have a deep (meter +) snowpack with a pencil hard midpack and 2-3 mm basel facets. Triggered fast running sluffs on steep west facing terrain. Exposed terrain near and above terrain has some wind crusts ranging from 1-6" thick. Some of these can be kicked off in small phonebook fashion.
