We chose to exit from Purple Bowl by ascending Wolverine Ridge from the south and skiing the NNE aspect. Based on the previous MIN for this feature we chose to travel to the northern end of Wolverine Ridge and ski the thicker trees there, assuming that the previously reported 1.5 skier triggered slide was the result of a small wind slab in the more open areas. We found that the snowpack on the upper third of the descent was faceted to ground and sluffed aggressively, leaving scoured ground behind. Unrecommended.
