Slope had loaded under the cliff faces blow the steep slopes. Hadn't observed any slab properties in the day so far. Should've thought more about the terrain that we were stepping into.

Skied into a a chute from Liverwurst ridge into Big Steep, slope had loaded underneath the cliffbands and the slab broke at the steepest point and propagated around the the full size of the chute. Slab was soft and strained skier through some small trees where they came to a stop. No injuries, good reality check.
