breakable crust 1000m down- pretty hard skiing, above 1000m, fairly hard pack with limited ski pen. Did not personally observe much whumping or signs of instability, but other group near us said they had experience a good amount of whomps which kept us on mellow terrain. No signs of any natural avalanches, temp felt colder as day went on in the alpine.
