Post Pineapple obs. Elevations from 1615-2200m. Rain crust with riming up to two cm thick from 2200m down to 1645m. In protected areas, up to five cms of wind-affected snow lays on top of this crust. Above 1900m on S asp crust is generally exposed but supportive. Best riding on wind deposits in swales. Avoided steeper convexities and slopes due to risk of uncontrolled slides. No evidence of avalanches in portion of Bumps travelled including during the storm. One small cornice collapse at 1955m did not propagate slope below. Near surface facetting may break this crust down somewhat above 1900m creating a breakable crust condition.
