First go up the mic towers today. Decent coverage down low in the AM but deteriorated in the afternoon for the ride out. Lots of water draining out, open creeks, rain runnels, and soggy riding! Coal creek to Matheson had a few downed trees on it but is now clear and wide enough for a groomer. Wet snow exists to 1900m. Above 1900m there is an average of 125cm HS. Foot pen to ground. Breakable rain crust is down 15-30cm. Deeper moist storm snow and less supportive crust exists at higher elevations. Still punchy to stumps on the machine at 2100m. Stuck fest… Good riding quality for the snowboard/pow surf above 1900m, supportive and creamy! We saw no new avalanche activity, and had no results on small test slopes near 1900m. We stayed in low angle non avalanche terrain.
