Short walk up Wawa to dig a pit. Snow was heavy and supportive. Some fresh wind slabs forming at treeline. We did not go into the alpine but observed significant cornice growth on neighboring peaks and blowing snow in the moderate range at ridge top. Kicked on some small cornices in immediate lees, average 20 - 50cm. Stubborn in the deeper spots, reactive in the thinner spots
