Good skiing Ashman area today . Valley fog to 1000m then sun above, light West winds, Alp temps -4. Steep solar asp moist at treeline. Snowpack depths avg 80-100cm in areas skied. 20 cm recent storm snow from Nov 25-26.over Nov 20 surface hoar down 30 cm decomposing, and embedded in a thin crust. Midpack strong, and lower layers are strong moist crusts. no significant shears noted. Evidence of a very small cycle from Nov 25-26 storm size 1-2 in immediate lees only, with little propagation or entrainment. Kicking small cornices today produced minimal results with isolated thin windslabs. Rain crust below 1300m, and snowpack tapers rapidly below.
