Surprise Pass Lake Louise

Had a great day on the Rockies classic ski tour, the over all conditions were excellent for this time of year. On average about 1m of snow at TL and ALP elevations with 10-15cm of powder. No avalanche concerns noted although the base of the snow pack is punchy in places, did some probing full depth. Still early season hazards, mostly rock, below TL elevation so heads up.
