Wheaton update

A clear cold day in the Wheaton Valley -18c! We tried to make it out to Mt Skukum but open water blocked the way. We got a good look at Alpine start zones and didn’t see evidence of a natural avalanche cycle during the last wind event. The alpine has been stripped down to rock in a lot of places. The valley snowpack was down to 50cm in the road side meadows. Watch your A-arms!
