3 days in steep creek

Amazing 3 days at darkside lake on steep North(ish) aspect. Blower pow in the alpine. No slabs or instability signs on N aspect, very stable lots of tracks. We droped a fridge size cornice from about 15 feet high on a roller of the spine wall and it produce only a medium size sluffing with no propagation. Wind affected snow on some aspects up the ridge to the col this morning. There was a few natural and one big skier trigger slabs avalanche on south(ish) aspect from before saturday. Wet sluffing from rocks exposes to sun, no natural cornice fail.
