Alpine soup.

A warm low visibility day out at the pass. You could see the peaks until 9am and then the fog and cloud rolled in quickly limiting visibility. The temps were inverted first thing in the morning with a very slight overnight refreeze at valley bottom. By mid-morning at 1330m temps were +3c and at 1550m +1c. Moderate winds were blowing from the southwest. Visibility was very limited at times. There were two cloud layers, one at valley bottom and one above 1330m. It’s spring skiing with moist surface snow between valley bottom and 1550m. We did not travel above 1550m.
