We dug a pit on a SW aspect at 1738m elevation. Our extended column test fractured 15cm down from 10 wrist + 2 elbow hits but we did not see propagation horizontally. Our isolated column test fractured 15cm down from only 2 wrist hits. We continued the isolated column test and fractured a weak layer 35cm down from 3 hits from the shoulder. We stayed away from 30+ degree slopes for the day.
