Rode into silver sands to play in the meadows and to check up on the reactivity of the facet layer of snow. In our tests we had the fresh snow layer of 25cms reacting in the easy range and the facet layer that sits down 50cms reacting in the moderate range. A group of riders informed me of the 25cm layer reacting on small indicator slopes and turned away from riding any large slopes. Fun day playing in simple terrain.
