Skied the North aspect of Lightning strike , Kootenay Pass Elevation 2159M temp -10 snow dept 175cm Oct crust 95cm CTH 8 130cm CTH 8 120 cm ( RP on compacted layers) October crust 95cm still reactive with shovel shear test, intact surface hoar seen. first 80 cm were compacted snow The south aspect looked skiable with no sun crust
