2 laps: First lap: SE aspect on a mellow slope. It felt crusty at times, with no signs of instability (likely due to the low slope angle). Second lap: NW aspect. Snow quality was better. On steeper features, the new snow was not bonding to the crust and triggered small slabs. Surface hoar visible on the weak layer. The snow was heavy, but it felt good to be back.
