Temps have gone from -16 at about 7500 feet to near 0 since Monday. We toured & skied a mellow ridge with nothing above us to be super safe. You can feel the difference in the snow both on skis & sled. Tracks are firming up within 15 minutes. Started to rain at 4000 feet coming down. Definitely stay away from open steeps for a little while ??
