Good Skiing in the alpine, traversed into the main slide path, which riding quality quickly changed to dust on crust and hard pack luge trail to trailhead. Creek crossing required some special attention but manageable. Road was a skating rink.
Weather
No significant change in temps, little to no wind. No blowing/drifting snow noted today.
Snowpack
Dug on East aspect, Temp -13 @ approx 1330 hours. CTM (RP) dn35, CTH 25 (Brk) dn 60, CTH 28 (RP) down 70, ECTN 20 dn 35, ECTN 22 dn 60, ECTN 28 dn 70 Hand shears on the uptrack showed no fracture characteristics in the upper snowpack.
Avalanche
Observed a couple suspected older natural windslab avalanches in the alpine, and one more recent sz 0.5 skier triggered in the upper alpine.
