Dug a profile at 1880m in an open glade. HS was 110cm and the dec 5 crust was down 47cm with large 12mm SH below. Under the SH was 1-2mm facets to ground. The Nov 5 crust was down 70cm. CTE 06 SC down 47 SH 12mm ECT P 06 down 47 SH 12mm We got easy results on the SH layer under the crust. Where we dug the pit it was in a location perfect for SH growth. In the thicker trees at the same elevation the SH layer was hard to find and the dec 5 crust just sat on facets to ground. It was -4 at 1880 and 0 at the sleds
