Went for a walk towards Rogers. Turned back at 2850 after digging a hasty pit and finding surface hoar under 40 cm of snow. Chose to ride lone pine. Entered from the top and ski cut a windslab that propagated for what seemed like most of the couloir, thinking about 700m length. Crown was roughly 20cm deep. Lots of hangfire on the walls on both sides of couloir. Bed surface rode nicely, glad i made it out of there in one piece.
