Chwk River Valley

Observed widespread whumphing and collapses between 1500-1800m, N-NW aspect. 50cm slab overlying a 15cm thick pencil hard rain crust failed easily in a resistant planar fashion to a variety of tests. Solar aspects heavily affected / crusted. Minimal wind effect observed. Skiing on sheltered + shaded features was excellent.
