General Conditions

Guided an ascent of Mt Begbie yesterday up the East ridge and down the standard North ridge route.
Very pleasant travel up the glacier to the col with no bare ice and a well supported snow bridge through the bergschrund.

Aside from very large cedar low on the trail, there's a surprising lack of blowdown compared with other nearby areas following last weeks very destructive wind event.
