Mount Field

No mins yet this year for Mount Field, so thought we would check it out. Only observed one old skin track. Shortcut skin track was thin on coverage down low. Spotted the remains of natural avalanche on the shoulder. Heavy wind effect in the alpine, treeline and even down into the trees. More rocks were visible in the alpine than other years. Mid elevation trees were dense at times. Low slopes had better coverage and less trees than expected. Rode better than expected overall, but no hero snow. The road back is as long as you remember.
