Beaver Creek

Good ride today in beaver, new snow over night and during the morning resulted in 1-3 feet of fresh powder depending on the area. Alpine and certain slopes were wind effected, overall snow was good. We didn’t experience any cracking or drum like sounds, but sticking to mellow slopes and trees may have helped. Lots of cornices formed, so be aware and know what’s up top of your riding area. Third picture shows an older avalanche within the last week I’m guessing. Wind was minimal and temperatures were around -10, overall a great day of riding.
