Sunshine Backcountry + Bourgeau Left

Bourgeau Left fell off sometime today. Normal for this time of year. The alpine was windless and warm in the sun. Which broke down the surface hoar on due south aspects. The thin snow pack, cold nights have faceted out the snowpack which was worse on East and North aspects. Found good skiing at treeline and below on meadowy solar aspects. Skiing on the polar aspects was fun but feeling more like facet surfacing. In spite of the heat there was little avalanche activity. Lots of lines out there are rocky but some lines are filled in nicely
