I went early expecting to find corn after yesterday's warming, but instead I've found every other flavor of surface conditions. Above treeline, the wind has redistributed snow into either dry pockets of enjoyable snow, or thin breakable crusts that were somewhat less fun. At TL and below, the evidence of warming was obvious. I dropped in from the summit at 8 to avoid any trouble that today's heat might bring. It seems to me that the melt/freeze cycle is a day behind the prediction, at least in the alpine.
Avalanche
Saw a wet point release that likely ran yesterday on SE aspect. Maybe D1, R1.5
